My name is Ben Rickard, and I am a fully qualified gardener. My love of gardening first commenced when I gained a horticulture traineeship at Holmesglen TAFE. During the traineeship, I completed Certificate 11 in Parks and Gardens. The next year I was fortunate to gain an apprenticeship which allowed me to learn my trade and developed my skills while working on a wide range of top-end residential properties throughout Melbourne, including the Coonac Mansion in Toorak. The experiences I gained throughout my apprenticeship enhanced my gardening passion and my desire to remain within the industry. In November 2018, with the encouragement of my former boss and friends, I started up this horticulture business.
In 2026, Elizabeth joined the team. She has completed Certificate 111 in Horticulture. She has specialist knowledge and skills in areas such as garden design and landscaping, revegetation, tree health assessment and management, irrigation, soils and plant nutrition, turf management, and plant identification.
