HOW WE CHARGE
Ben Rickard Horticultural Service charges for jobs on an hourly basis. Our hourly rate excludes the cost of removing green waste, compost and mulching material, new plants, fertiliser etc.
We usually have a minimum charge equivalent to one hour, with half hour increments up to two hours, followed by quarter of an hour increments thereafter.
To remove green waste, we charge by the bag (approximately 0.75 cubic metre), although heavy material, such as removal of existing lawn, will impact the cost.

Ben Rickard Horticultural Service provides garden maintenance services to mainly residential properties in the inner, eastern, northern and north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with a particular focus on the following suburbs: Alphington, Fairfield, Northcote, Thornbury, North Fitzroy, Fitzroy, Clifton Hill, Brunswick East, Ivanhoe, Eaglemont, Kew, Canterbury, and Camberwell.
